Winnitex Brings PFAS-Free Finishing, Bio-Based Performance, and Traceable Australian Cotton to Global Sourcing Expo Sydney 2026
SYDNEY, Australia – Winnitex, a vertically integrated woven fabric manufacturer founded in 1964, returns to Global Sourcing Expo Sydney for the second consecutive year. The company exhibits at Booth L40, Hall 5, ICC Sydney from 16 to 18 June 2026.
With three production locations and 15 million yards of monthly capacity, Winnitex supplies global brands across workwear, uniforms, corporate apparel, and performance fabrics.
Four areas of focus
- PFAS-Free Functional Finishing. PFAS-free fi nishing across water repellency and stain release. Aligned with Australia’s PFAS ban, in force since 1 July 2025 under the Industrial Chemicals Environmental Management Standard.
- Bio-Based Performance. Hyosung regen™ BIO spandex and Sorona® polymer, engineered for high-recovery stretch with reduced reliance on petroleum-based synthetics.
- Circular Material Solutions. Sixone closed-loop polyester for textile-to-textile recycling, alongside TENCEL™ Lyocell blends in soft-touch woven constructions.
- Traceable Australian Cotton. Yarn-to-fabric documentation for the Australian Cotton programme, with chain-of-custody records and partner certifi cations that hold up to audit.
