  • What will be on display at the Global Sourcing Expo?

    Exhibitors will showcase the latest in apparel, accessories, textiles, home, gift and more. Visit the Show to discover new global suppliers and sourcing opportunities and profit from insights from industry experts at our Global Sourcing Seminars program.
  • Will there be any seminars at the Expo?

    Yes. A major feature of the event is the extensive Global Sourcing Seminar program which is always heavily attended by visitors. Pre-registration is essential. Keep checking our website for more details of the seminar program to be incorporated into this year’s event. These provide great value-added activities for you to engage in whilst attending the Show.
  • Global Sourcing Expo is a Trade Only Event.

    Entry is restricted to people involved in the giftware, home décor and lifestyle product industries. Business ID may be required upon entry e.g. business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a driver’s licence to substantiate your identification. All visitors must be able to provide proof they either work for or operate the company used in registration. Some examples of who can attend include wholesalers, importers, suppliers, retail chain stores, private brands, agents, manufacturers and distributors. Those not involved in a relevant industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is prohibited. No photography or sketching is permitted. Students will not be registered unless they attend with prior permission of the Organiser and upon registration by the course administrator. The Organiser reserves the right at their discretion to deny or withdraw access to non-approved persons.
  • How much does it cost to visit?

    Entry is free for all bona fide trade visitors. Visitors must work within the giftware, home décor and lifestyle product industries. Business identification is required to validate entry.
  • Who should attend?

    Importers, wholesalers, retailers, department stores, buying groups, contract outfitters, institutional buyers, sourcing agents, interior designers, contract packers, visual merchandisers, store designers, speciality retailers and others.
  • When is the Global Sourcing Expo open?

    Tues 21 November 10am – 5pm

    Wed 22 November 10am – 5pm

    Thur 23 November 10am – 4pm

  • Do I need to register to attend as a Visitor?

    Yes, all visitors must register if they want to attend the Show. You may register online, or you can register for the Show when you arrive, however, to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register online.
  • Can I still attend if I have not pre-registered?

    Yes. You are welcome to register at the onsite registration counter. We recommend you pre-register to avoid any queues. All registrations will require business identification.
  • What do I need to bring as business identification?

    Relevant identification includes business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN.
  • Can students attend?

    Students enrolled in interior design, architecture, visual merchandise at a tertiary level may attend the Show. Students are not required to register. Course Administrators must apply in writing to the Organiser prior to the event in order to bring class groups to the Show.   • Are child minding facilities available?

    No. These facilities are not available at the venue. Children must be under adult supervision at all time.
  • Where is the Global Sourcing Expo being held?

    The Trade Show will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Click here for the venue website which provides comprehensive details of how to get to and from the venue along with nearby car parking options.
  • How do I get to the venue?

    The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is centrally located and well serviced by public transport. Click here for all travel details.
  • Do I need a visa to visit Australia?

    Most international visitors to Australia will require a visa to enter the country. For Government details on visas visit the Australian Government Immigration site at www.homeaffairs.gov.au Remember that if you need to make a visa Application ensure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved. The Organiser does not provide assistance with visa applications for international visitors to the Show. International visitors are welcome to attend but should ensure that they are pre-registered and have relevant supporting business credentials with them at all times during the Show. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or withdraw entry at any time and will not be held liable for any matters relating to visas, expenses incurred or travel arrangements.
  • Can I exhibit at the Global Sourcing Expo?

    If you are an international manufacturer or exporter you may be eligible to exhibit at the Trade Show. Please complete an online Exhibitor Enquiry Form here and one of our sales team will respond and provide you with further details.

  • What related events are coming up?

    Global Sourcing Expo is co-located with the China Clothing Textiles & Accessories Expo in November. The Footwear and Accessories Show Australia is also held each year in November, in Melbourne, alongside the Global Sourcing Expo.  These long established shows also provide direct contact between international suppliers and trade buyers from across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and beyond.
